Cobourg Jane’s Walk
Join the Movement!
Jane’s Walk Cobourg is part of a global festival of free, volunteer-led walking conversations inspired by the writer, urbanist and activist Jane Jacobs (1916-2006). Jacobs’ seminal 1961 book, The Death and Life of Great American Cities, introduced ground-breaking ideas about how cities function and evolve that have become common sense for today’s architects, planners, policymakers, activists and city builders.
This is our third Jane’s Walk Festival in Cobourg and it’s happening on Saturday, May 4. Save the date and check out our walk list below. If you have an idea for a walk, please fill out the form on this page by April 19th.
