Every busy day should start with a good breakfast, especially when the day is jam-packed with the many fun-filled activities of the Cobourg Waterfront Festival. 7:30am – 10:00 am located in Victoria Park

The Town of Cobourg Canada Day Celebrations will be held on Tuesday, July 1 in Victoria Park and surrounding area.
Canadians across the country and around the world show their pride in their history, culture and achievements on July 1. Canada Day in Cobourg has been a tradition in our beautiful Town for many years, bringing our entire community together, for residents and visitors to enjoy and share our special bond of living in one of the greatest countries in the world.
The Canada Day Parade begins at 11am. We would love to see you and your float in the parade. *Note – there will be no parking on King Street on Tuesdsay, July 1 until after 12pm to allow for the parade and festivities.
Join the Town Council, the Town Crier and York Bell-Smith for the Opening Ceremonies in Victoria Park at 12:30pm. After opening ceremonies there will be children’s activities and multicultural performances in the north end of Victoria Park.
Canada Day Entertainment at the Bandshell begins at 1pm and continues until 9:30pm.
Fireworks will begin over the harbour beginning at 10pm sharp.
Find your Favourite Vendors in the Tents and Marketplace

The tents will line the Esplanade and be featured in Rotary Harbourfront Park. We are welcoming back many of our favourite vendors from previous years. Don’t miss your shopping, snacking and chances for discovering your new favourite thing this year in one of the tents that line the Cobourg Harbour.

Victoria Park will once again feature the Marketplace from the Cobourg Lions Club. Visit for food, drink, entertainment and shopping with excited festival-goers. Support your favourite vendors from previous events and, perhaps you will find something new to enjoy. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

The carnival will be located in Victoria Park, overlooking Lake Ontario and beautiful Victoria Beach, just south of the Bandshell.
Ticket prices and more details will be updated soon.
Cyclists are welcome! If you can, help us reduce our environmental footprint, and save on parking. There will be bike racks around the Festival. Please bring your own locks.

It wouldn’t be a Canada Day long weekend without great music. Entertainment can be found from at the Victoria Park Bandshell and in the Refreshment Tent. This year we will have some old favourites and new performers.
Click on the day to see the performances that are lined up for this year. Full details and schedule will be updated soon.
