Outdoor Pools
The Town of Cobourg has one outdoor public pool located at 42 Charles Street. Adjacent to Victoria Park and the Cobourg Waterfront.
During the hot summer days, many of the children’s daycares will use the outdoor pool. Inside of the building there are change rooms with lockers that can be used by guests.
Lifeguards on site are, supplied and trained by the Northumberland YMCA, are on duty at all times during operating hours.
Centennial Pool offers public swimming during the summer, lessons and aquafit programs. This outdoor swimming pool is located next to Victoria Park and the Cobourg waterfront.
Please abide by the following:

Children 0-5 years must be accompanied in the water with a parent or guardian at all times at a ratio of 1 guardian to 2 children.

Children 6-9 years who have not passed the facility swimming test must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian at all times at a ratio of 1 guardian to 2 children. If the children are wearing lifejackets the ratio may increase to 1 guardian to 4 children

Children 6-9 who can pass the facility swim test may swim on their own in the pool provided a parent or guardian who is at least 16 years old supervising them from the pool deck. Adults may supervise a maximum of four children

Individuals 10+ years of age who are not able to pass the facility swimming test should be directed to swim in the pool area appropriate to their abilities
Admission
Admission ; YMCA Northumberland membership or YMCA Northumberland day pass allows entry at all public swimming times. Assistance available for all programs.
