Beachside Jams

Friday, July 31 | 6 - 9pm

Meet at the Cobourg Beach food truck court at 138 Division Street to connect with friends and listen to music from some great local talent. Your favourite local soundtrack is back.

Amberlyn Rutherford is bringing her incredible vocals and stage presence to the shoreline, alongside the always-stellar Harry Hannah, delivering the kind of authentic performance that makes you remember why you love local music so much. Having both of them on the same beach lineup is a win for anyone with ears, so you won't want to miss it.

Think of it as the ultimate backyard hangout, just with a much better view and way fewer mosquitoes. Bring a chair, bring your friends, or just come solo and run into everyone you know anyway. It’s the easiest social plan you’ll make all week.

You might want to stop by to decompress after work, walk over with a post-dinner ice cream, or drag your family out to catch the sunset. The vibe is entirely up to you. Come for twenty minutes, stay for two hours, or hang out until the music stops.

More about the Performers

Amberlyn Rutherford is an emerging country singer-songwriter from Castleton, Ontario, whose work is defined by a rare balance of strength and vulnerability. With a voice that carries both grit and clarity, she draws from her rural upbringing to craft songs rooted in lived experience, quiet resilience, and emotional honesty.

In February, she released her debut single “Had It”, earning immediate editorial playlist support and introducing a sound that is both grounded in tradition and unmistakably current. Her songwriting leans into unfiltered narratives, shaped by small-town life but resonating far beyond it.

Following her first live performances of 2026, Amberlyn has begun to establish herself as a compelling presence on stage, where her delivery is as direct and unguarded as her writing. There is a sense of intention behind her early work, with each release and performance contributing to a growing, cohesive identity.

Harry Hannah is a songwriter’s songwriter, equal parts troubadour and truth teller. From Baltimore, Ontario, he has spent over a decade cutting his teeth across Canada’s pubs and barrooms, shaping songs that feel lived in and deeply relatable.

Winner of the 2025 North of Nowhere Emerging Artist Contest, Harry brings a level of perspective that goes beyond a typical “emerging” label. His writing carries the weight of experience, delivered with a voice that is both grounded and unfiltered.

Recently joining Riley Taylor on the road, Harry has continued to build his reputation where it matters most, in front of live audiences, where his songs land with the same honesty they were written with.
