Getting Around

There are a few different ways that you can get around the beautiful Town of Cobourg! The Town can be explored by foot, bike, on-demand transit services, or by one of our licensed taxi services. There are three licensed taxi services within the Town of Cobourg to get you where you need to go. Please see below for their contact information. Please note, all licensed Town of Cobourg Cabs are identified by a Town of Cobourg decal located on the back of the taxicab vehicle.

Parking

Downtown parking is free for three hours, year-round. After three hours, downtown parking is $2.50/hour, for both on-street and parking lots.

Accessibility

Beach Mat
Our Parks team manages and installs the beach mat at Victoria Beach. The mat runs North/South, starting at the Victoria Beach pergola, but does not extend into the water, but goes close to the shore.

Accessible Dock
Our Marina/Waterfront staff oversee the management of the accessible dock, ensuring ease of use for everyone.

EV Chargers

Tesla Superchargers are available at Canadian Tire , fronting Elgin Street. Flo fast charger is available at the same location. Petro Canada, by the Burnham Street 401 exit also has a fast-charge station. 

Cobourg Transit

Cobourg Transit is a fully accessible service that has three (3) buses running On Demand services. Cobourg Transit also offers an origin to destination service called WHEELS for eligible riders who cannot use conventional transit.
