Kick Off Summer in Cobourg: Your June Guide to Fun & Festivities

Join in the fun at the 3rd Annual Downtown Pride celebration on June 7, 2025, in Cobourg. The festivities include a parade on King Street at 11 a.m., local vendors, a Kid Zone, and community joy.

Celebrate Canada Day weekend at the Cobourg Waterfront Festival, a cherished event for over 35 years. Held at Victoria Park and the surrounding area, the festival features the Rotary Harbour Arts with artisan vendors, the Lions Marketplace offering food and entertainment, and a variety of amusement rides for all ages. Don't miss the Canada Day parade on July 1 at 11 a.m. along King Street, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the harbour at 10 p.m.

With the warm weather, Cobourg's patio season is in full swing. Restaurants like The Mill Restaurant & Pub are ready to welcome guests with outdoor seating, live music, and new staff uniforms. AND they just launched their Live Music Summer Series, starting in June!

Experience the Waterfront Wisdom Pathway, a collection of 26 banners created by local Indigenous artists Rick Beaver and Koren Smoke of Alderville First Nation. The banners, displayed on lampposts along Cobourg's waterfront, depict the 7 Grandfather teachings: Respect, Love, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, Wisdom, and Truth.
