10 Things to do in Cobourg this September

Summer may be winding down, but Cobourg's outdoor movie season isn't quite finished. On Saturday, September 5, settle into Victoria Park for Movies Under the Stars presentation of Hoppers, an animated adventure about a young animal lover who discovers a way to communicate with animals. The movie begins at approximately 7:45 p.m. Bring a blanket, lawn chair and snacks and enjoy one more movie night under the stars.

There is something wonderfully old-fashioned about starting a Saturday morning at the Cobourg Farmers' Market. Operating since 1839, the market is one of Ontario's oldest continuously operating farmers' markets. Pick up local produce, baked goods, flowers, prepared food and handmade goods, then wander down to the waterfront for a stroll. The September market runs Saturdays at Rotary Harbourfront Park.

Take a trip down memory lane at the Northumberland Vintage Show on September 12.
